Caverion Finland and Baltics is in a good shape and ready to speed up the growth. We aim to increase the share of our solutions business and grow both organically and by balanced M&A. We employ app 3500 top professionals in Finland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. Since our current Head of finance is retiring in the end of this year, we are looking for an experienced and high performing  

Head of Finance, Division Finland and Baltics 

You will lead the Finance and controlling function for the division and are part of the Finland and Baltics Management team. Even more international dimension comes via your role as a member in the Group Finance management team. This position is located at Caverion’s headquarter in Vantaa, Finland, but also other Caverion´s locations in Finland can be considered. This position will report to EVP, Head of Division Finland and Baltics Ville Tamminen. 

Your Key areas of responsibility will include: 

• Lead and develop Finance and controlling function. You lead the team – you have 4 direct reports and a team of app 100 professionals. You are expected to drive the further development of this team, ensure smooth delivery of the business support, reporting and further development of the competences. You will be responsible for growing the talent and securing the succession for our key financial positions. 
• Contribute to continuous business improvement by analyzing the current situation, understanding the business drivers and being able to find the root causes for different outcomes as well as define the needed actions to improve the situation. You are expected to have a clear impact on the efficiency of our operations as well as the profitability of our projects and services. 
• Lead and develop the division’s Business support and operational development. This will mean for example securing the efficiency and for the purpose functionalities at any time. Further improvement of centralized administrative support is one of the first topics on your table.  
• Supporting M&A activities. We aim to grow and a part of that will happen through M&A. Your role is essential in ensuring the needed financial assessments as well as profitability analyzes.

To succeed in this position, you need

• Proven track record in leading a finance function and team successfully in international and complex business environment. Experience from both projects and services business is advantage.   
• Experience with process improvements across different functions as well as Operational development  
• Leadership skills - Ability to build high performing teams. Leading by example with passion for people and performance. 
• Strong user of IT systems – ideally knowledge about SAP, PowerBI
• Experience with M&A (both DD and integration)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both verbal and written. 
• University degree in Business, Economy or related field
